Position Overview The Atlassian Project Manager will support and lead Atlassian consulting engagements under the guidance of senior leadership. You will own day-to-day project coordination, track plans and timelines, flag risks early, and keep customers and internal teams aligned throughout delivery. We are looking for a proactive project coordinator who communicates clearly, manages competing priorities, and is ready to grow into full project ownership as they gain experience. Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Management
• Drive end-to-end management of client implementations, cloud migrations, and digital transformations using agile and waterfall frameworks.
• Develop, track, and maintain project plans, schedules, dependencies, critical paths, risk logs, and resource allocation.
• Lead key project ceremonies, including client kickoffs, status meetings, sprint planning, UAT, cutover, and post-launch hypercare.
• Define and execute recovery/remediation plans for projects experiencing delays, scope creep, or resource bottlenecks. Financial & Scope Governance
• Track effort against estimates,



compute remaining work (ETC/EAC), and monitor burn rates to ensure delivery within budget.
• Identify out-of-scope requests early, draft change requests (CRs), and secure formal written approval prior to execution.
• Provide clear, cadence-based reporting (weekly/monthly) to internal leadership and client stakeholders covering budget health, milestones, blockers, and decisions. Stakeholder Alignment & Client Success
• Serve as a primary point of contact for enterprise clients (Fortune 500), building trusted relationships with both technical teams and client management.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams—including solution architects, consultants, developers, third-party vendors, and Atlassian representatives.
• Manage client expectations, align multi-disciplinary teams around shared priorities, and proactively communicate risks before they escalate. Atlassian Operations & Governance
• Establish and enforce delivery standards, maintaining clear task ownership, estimates, and outcomes across all project workstreams.
• Maintain comprehensive, single-source-of-truth project documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Support continuous improvement of internal delivery frameworks, templates, and post-project handoffs to Managed Services. Required Qualifications




• At least 4 years of project or program management experience in technology consulting, cloud implementation, or professional services
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Atlassian Cloud
• Experience managing enterprise customers and complex technical delivery teams
• Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, scope, schedules, resources, risks, and change requests
• Experience with Atlassian implementations or Data Center to Cloud migrations
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong executive communication, customer management, organization, ownership, and follow through
• Availability during US Eastern Time business hours Preferred Qualifications
• PMP, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable project management certification
• Active Atlassian certifications
• Previous experience working for an Atlassian Solution Partner
• Experience managing enterprise or Fortune 500 customers
• Experience with fixed price and time and materials engagements
