Now Hiring: Digital Marketing Account Strategist (Part-Time, Remote | Colombia & Mexico) RankPay is a San Diego-based digital marketing agency (SEO, paid media, and AI search/AEO) that helps $1M to $20M businesses grow. A growing share of our work is with industrial and manufacturing companies, and we’re looking for a strategist who already speaks their language. Our revenue is built on long-term retainers, so client relationships are everything. That’s where you come in. As an Account Strategist, you’re the marketing brain and trusted advisor behind a portfolio of clients. You will be trusted to own the strategy, the relationship, and the results. What you’ll do
• Lead onboarding, goal setting, and ongoing strategy for each client
• Translate long B2B sales cycles, distributor networks, and technical products into marketing strategy that generates qualified leads
• Turn GA4, ad platform, and call tracking data into clear recommendations clients actually act on
• Run strategy calls and performance reviews, and flag risks before clients do
• Direct our SEO, PPC, content, and dev specialists so strategy becomes execution
• Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities that genuinely help clients grow
• Turn happy clients into referrals, reviews, and case studies How you’ll be measured
• Controllable churn, client satisfaction (NPS), client-level gross margin, referrals and upsells, and LTV growth.



You’re a fit if you have
• 5+ years in account strategy, digital marketing consulting, or client services (agency experience strongly preferred).
• Solid command of AEO, SEO, PPC, content, and CRO
• Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or other technical B2B markets, whether in-house at a manufacturer or serving those clients at an agency
• Comfort with long sales cycles, engineers and technical buyers, and complex product lines
• Comfort with GA4, Looker Studio, and CRM tools
• Excellent fluency with spoken and written English, with availability to overlap with U.
S. Pacific business hours
• An ownership mindset: when something breaks, you fix it and tell the client first Bonus points
• Experience with trade-show-driven or distributor-driven lead generation
• Packaging, machinery, plastics, or contract manufacturing background The details
• Part-time to start (about 15-20 hrs/week), with a path to full-time
• Independent contractor, 100% remote, based in Colombia or Mexico
• $20 to $30 USD/hr depending on experience
