The opportunity

The Associate Account Executive supports the National Account Team of a mid-sized US advertising agency that has spent more than twenty years helping franchise brands across the U.S. and Canada. Working alongside Account Executives and reporting to an Account Director, you'll keep the day-to-day work of franchise and multi-location accounts organized, accurate, and on schedule. It's an entry point into account services: you'll learn how an agency runs and build the customer service skills to grow into a more customer-facing position.

What you'll own

- Partner with Account Executives and Account Directors on the day-to-day needs of your accounts, tracking customer communications, deadlines, approvals, and open requests, and routing strategic, financial, or sensitive matters to the right account leader.
- Manage projects from brief to delivery: write task requests and specification sheets, schedule kickoffs and reviews, monitor timelines, follow up on approvals, and flag delays early.
- Drive quality by preparing presentations, agendas, status documents, and meeting notes, and by checking every deliverable for accuracy and completeness before it reaches the customer.
- Build the research and reporting behind each account, from performance data to competitor, platform, and audience insights, and suggest ways to improve workflows.

What you'll bring

Must-haves

- Fluent English and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
- Experience supporting multiple customer accounts, projects,



or cross-functional marketing initiatives.
- Experience preparing, managing, and tracking account documentation.
- Strong organization and time management, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including polished customer-facing materials.
- Analytical thinking to assist with project estimates, budget tracking, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with marketing, advertising, or franchise development best practices.
- Ability to learn new tools and software quickly.
- Ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and customers, and to work well with creatives, strategists, analysts, media professionals, and project managers.
- Sound judgment on when to respond independently and when to elevate a question, risk, or concern.
- A habit of taking clear instruction, asking thoughtful questions, and following assignments through to completion.
- A proactive, resourceful, dependable approach, with empathy and a customer-focused mindset.
- Calm, organized, solutions-oriented work as priorities shift, and openness to feedback.

Nice-to-haves

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Two or more years of agency experience.
- Franchise or multi-unit brand experience.
- Experience with SharePoint, project management systems, and reporting platforms.
