The Senior Data Analyst is a highly specialized role responsible for designing, developing, and governing advanced analytics solutions that transform complex operational data into reliable insights and scalable decision-support products. The role combines strong business acumen with deep technical expertise in data modelling, SQL, Power BI, data integration, automation, and analytical quality assurance.

This position owns the end-to-end analytical lifecycle, from requirements discovery and source assessment through data preparation, semantic modelling, visualization, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement. It partners with Operations, Finance, HR, Talent, Technology, and other stakeholders to define KPIs, improve data reliability, standardise reporting, and enable data-driven decisions.

The role also provides technical guidance to analysts, establishes development standards, and contributes to the evolution of the general data and BI capability..

Qualifications





Required:

- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or related analytics roles.
- Advanced Power BI: dimensional modelling, DAX, Power Query, performance optimisation, security, and governance.
- Advanced SQL: complex joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, subqueries, and data-quality validation.
- Experience integrating and reconciling multiple data sources and building repeatable transformation processes.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, KPI design, data quality, metadata, lineage, testing, and documentation.
- Advanced Excel, including complex formulas, Power Query, data modelling, and analytical validation.
- Experience managing requirements, solution testing, release documentation, and stakeholder acceptance.
- English B2+ required; C1 preferred for regional and global collaboration.

Nice to Have:

- Python or R for data manipulation, automation, statistical analysis, or quality checks.
- Cloud data platforms or warehouses such as Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or equivalent.
- APIs, JSON, Git/version control, CI/CD concepts, and structured deployment practices.
- Power Apps and Power Automate for analytical workflow enablement.
- Statistical methods, forecasting, experimentation, anomaly detection, or predictive analytics.
- Experience in operational analytics, shared services, media, finance, workforce, or compliance.
