Remote | Colombia | Full-Time Saphialytics is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics practice supporting enterprise clients in the U.
S. and Canada. This is a deeply technical role for someone with strong experience designing and operating modern, scalable, and production-ready data platforms. What we’re looking for
- 8+ years of professional Data Engineering experience
- Advanced SQL skills and strong data modeling fundamentals
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Solid Enterprise experience with Informatica
- Production experience with Snowflake and Databricks
- Strong experience designing and orchestrating pipelines with Azure Data Factory
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Strong development skills in Python and PySpark
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, batch processing, incremental loads, orchestration, and large-volume data processing




- Experience designing data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and dimensional data models
- Experience optimizing queries, transformations, partitioning, and distributed workloads
- Strong understanding of data quality, monitoring, error handling, recovery, security, and production reliability
- Experience integrating cloud and on-premises data sources, APIs, files, and enterprise systems
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, code reviews, and structured deployment practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and data-quality issues in production
- Ability to explain and defend technical architecture decisions
- Experience working in complex enterprise data environments
- English level C1 or higher
- Ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders in the U.
S. and Canada
