At Staffing Abroad we are looking for a Staff Accountant for a reowned Fintech company in the United States.

Salary: 8.000.000COP to 12.000.000COP

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Reconciling bank transactions with data produced by operations.
- Maintaining and balancing general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Producing error-free accounting reports and analyzing results.

- Preparing schedules for internal and external use.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.

Requirements

- Minimum 3-4 years experience
- Advanced English B2+ or higher.
- Highly detail oriented and strong organizational skills




- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong communication skills for internal business department and outside investors
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Experience with accounting for intercompany activity
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Analytical skills
- Must have excellent work habits and be reliable
