Are you a DBA who likes managing databases as code instead of by hand? Or a platform/DevOps engineer who knows SQL Server well? We want to hear from you.

Roca Alliances is hiring for a integral SaaS company that makes field service management software and is growing its engineering team in Medellín. You'll be the SQL Server expert on the platform team. You'll keep production databases fast, secure and resilient, and help automate how they're deployed.

- Design and test backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies
- Help developers optimize queries and data access
- Automate repetitive work with T-SQL, PowerShell, Python or Bash
- Manage access and security (RBAC) and the change approval process
- Join the 24/7 on-call rotation, resolve incidents and lead root cause analysis
- Document procedures and decisions in the internal developer portal

WHAT YOU BRING

- Hands-on production experience with SQL Server and T-SQL (2016 or earlier versions count)
- Database changes managed in Git and deployed through pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab or Jenkins)
- Scripting for automation: PowerShell, Python or Bash
- Strong troubleshooting in production environments
- English B2-C1 (you'll use it every day with the engineering team) and Spanish
- Based in Medellín or willing to relocate
