Job Description

Our client is seeking a Release Manager to lead and modernize release management across a complex ecosystem of web, mobile, middleware, and backend applications. This individual will own the end-to-end release lifecycle, partnering with Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver predictable, low-risk releases while driving automation and process improvements through modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Day-to-Day

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate weekly production releases across multiple application teams
- Lead release bridges, Go/No-Go discussions, stakeholder communications, and deployment activities
- Manage ServiceNow change requests, CAB approvals, and production release governance
- Coordinate release scope, dependencies, risk assessments, testing sign-offs, and deployment readiness
- Oversee deployments, production validation, rollback activities, and emergency hotfix releases
- Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Support teams to ensure successful releases
- Track and communicate release status, risks, issues, and key metrics to stakeholders
- Drive release automation, process improvements, and operational efficiencies across the release lifecycle

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of Release Management experience in complex application environments
- Experience managing the full release lifecycle from planning through production deployment and validation
- Experience with ServiceNow Change Requests, CAB approvals, and change governance processes
- Experience leading release bridges, Go/No-Go meetings, and production deployments




- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation concepts
- Experience driving release automation, DevOps initiatives, and process improvements
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, rollback plans, and release schedules
- Experience coordinating Product, Development, QA, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Support teams
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNowGitLab CI/CD and/or Jenkins experience
- Experience supporting customer-facing web, mobile, or eCommerce platforms
- AWS/EKS experience
- Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Optimizely, or Akamai
- Experience improving release processes and reducing deployment timelines
- Experience supporting peak readiness, hypercare, and high-availability environments
