About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on After-Sales Engineer based in Bogotá, Colombia, to provide technical support and after-sales service for our solar energy and energy storage products.

The adecuado candidate should have practical experience in electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, and on-site technical service. This role requires someone who can independently diagnose faults, perform repairs, and help customers resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform on-site inspection, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of solar energy and energy storage equipment.
- Identify and resolve electrical and electronic faults, including component-level issues where applicable.
- Provide technical support to customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Handle product installation guidance, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales service.
- Prepare service reports, document technical issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Work closely with the headquarters team to escalate complex technical issues and improve service quality.




- Support technical training and provide product usage and maintenance guidance to customers when needed.

Requirements

- Education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, or after-sales technical service.
- Must be able to perform practical repairs independently, not just provide remote support or coordinate service activities.
- Familiarity with inverters, solar energy systems, energy storage systems, batteries, or related electrical equipment is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of electrical circuits, electronic components, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent Spanish is required; basic English is an advantage for communication with the international technical team.
- Willingness to travel within Colombia for on-site customer support when required.
