Main Responsibilities

- Execute Market Access strategies and plans within the assigned territory and Business Unit.
- Lead access-related interactions and negotiations with payers, hospitals, and clinics, in line with established guidelines.
- Identify barriers affecting treatment authorization, initiation, and continuity, and develop actions to improve patient access pathways.
- Plan and execute projects related to diagnosis, referral, authorization, treatment initiation, and continuity.
- Generate relevant payer and healthcare ecosystem insights to strengthen account plans and execution priorities.
- Coordinate initiatives with Market Access, Medical, and Commercial teams, while maintaining clearly differentiated responsibilities.
- Plan and execute approved Market Access events and initiatives.
- Document interactions, commitments, barriers, and outcomes in the appropriate systems.
- Ensure compliance with AstraZeneca's internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethics, compliance, quality, safety, health, and environmental standards.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health, economics,



business, or a related field.
- Experience in Market Access, payer or healthcare provider engagement, healthcare pathways, or related access execution roles.
- Ability to engage and negotiate with payers, healthcare providers, and other healthcare system stakeholders.
- Knowledge of patient access pathways, barrier identification, and process optimization.
- Strong analytical, planning, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- English proficiency appropriate to the role, both written and spoken.
- Strong digital skills (Teams, Copilot, AZChatGPT, PowerPoint, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in health economics, public health, Market Access, business, or a related field.
- Experience working with insurers, hospitals, clinics, or healthcare delivery networks.
- Experience in access pathway improvement projects and generating relevant payer insights.
