Job Title: Specialist, Staff Counsel

Job Description The role includes providing specialized legal advice in commercial and contractual law, leading the review, negotiation, and execution of civil, commercial, and mercantile contracts across the various countries where the company operates in LATAM.

Responsibilities

- Negotiate, draft, and review civil, commercial, and mercantile contracts with local and international counterparts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations in each country of the region.
- Provide legal support to various business areas on contractual matters.
- Coordinate with external law firms to manage specific legal matters in other countries.
- Mitigate contractual risks by implementing internal legal models, policies, and processes.
- Participate in strategic decision-making, considering both legal and commercial perspectives.

Requirements

- Law degree with a valid professional license.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in roles focused on commercial contracting.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2+), with fluent oral and written communication.
- Strong knowledge of commercial, civil, contractual, and mercantile law.
- Experience in legal management with a LATAM focus in multinational environments.
- Strong negotiation skills, effective communication, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- High level of commitment and responsibility is required.
