Position Summary

We are looking for a Bilingual Care Coordinator to support a U.S.based healthcare client. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates in Colombia. The idóneo candidate has previous experience supporting U.S. healthcare operations and is comfortable communicating with patients, providers, caregivers, and internal teams in both English and Spanish.

Candidates with backgrounds as Patient Coordinators, Intake Coordinators, Home Care Coordinators, Medical Virtual Assistants, or similar healthcare support roles are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate communication between patients, families, healthcare providers, caregivers, and internal teams.
Schedule appointments and followups and assist with daytoday patient coordination.
Maintain accurate patient information and documentation within EHR EMR systems.
Handle inbound and outbound patient calls, emails, and followups.
Process referrals and assist with insurance eligibility verification and prior authorizations when required.
Conduct patient followups and help resolve scheduling, documentation, or servicerelated issues.
Coordinate with home care services, medical equipment providers, and other healthcare resources when needed.
Escalate urgent patient concerns, service delays, or care gaps to the appropriate team.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements
Previous experience supporting a U.S.based healthcare organization or medical practice.




Fluent English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with patient coordination, medical administration, scheduling, intake, or similar healthcare support.
Familiarity with EHR EMR systems and healthcare documentation.
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple patients, tasks, and followups simultaneously.
Reliable computer, internet connection, and remote workspace.
Nice to Have
Previous experience as a Patient Coordinator,Care Coordinator, Intake Coordinator, Home Care Coordinator or Medical VA.
U.S. home health or home care experience.
Insurance verification or prior authorization experience.
Experience with platforms such as HHAeXchange, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar healthcare systems.
Previous experience working remotely with a U.S.based healthcare team.
