At Home Solutions is a licensed New York home care agency with offices in Queens, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany and Watertown, plus an affiliated infusion clinic. We’re an AI-forward team: much of our finance work already runs through AI and automation, so a small team can run a multi-entity business.
The role
Own the books and financial compliance for four related US companies, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports. A large part of the job is maintaining and improving our AI finance workflows: bank and card feeds, payroll imports, AI-assisted reconciliations and reporting automations. When something breaks or a process is still manual, you fix or automate it.
- Monthly close and reconciliations (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, ADP)
- Maintain and expand our AI and automation workflows (Claude, Zapier, databases/scripts/APIs)
- Our compliance and reporting calendar: payroll, benefits, Medicaid and grant filings (there are quite a few reports)
- Weekly payables and receivables reporting
- CPA, auditor and lender requests
Requirements
- 4+ years of month-end close for US businesses
- QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct experience
- Hands-on AI and automation experience: you’ve built or maintained workflows, not just used chatbots
- Fluent written English
- Owns deadlines without reminders
- Healthcare experience is a plus
