Skills and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

- Design Development: Develop and review designs (documents and drawings) and incorporate feedback, in accordance with specific requests from the Engineering and Projects departments, using software, the Office suite, and applicable standards, in order to meet the requirements of each discipline.
- Planning and Execution: Plan and supervise the execution of each project, defining the scope and applicable standards, and assigning priorities to the work group to comply with the Detailed Work Plan (DWP) and the project’s man-hours.
- Bid Preparation: Be able to define, as necessary, resource estimates based on project knowledge and experience, in order to develop a proposal that meets the client’s requirements.
- Technical Quality Management of Deliverables: Use the tools and methods established by the company to control the quality of deliverables, in accordance with the specialty to which you are assigned, using the defined standards and control schemes, in order to ensure that all projects meet the quality and compliance parameters defined in each project’s Quality Plan and in the Value Proposition.
- Man-Hour Tracking and Control: Record the man-hours used for each deliverable/activity in the man-hour tracking and control system established by the company, in order to monitor the project’s profitability.
- Support for Client Technical Inquiries: Respond to technical inquiries raised by the client by participating in formal and periodic meetings,



with the aim of adequately resolving concerns and identifying potential scope changes or rework that require immediate change control actions.

Your Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience

Qualifications, Education, and Certifications

- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Specialist in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Knowledge of slope stability analysis, stress-strain analysis, bearing capacity analysis, and settlements in shallow and deep foundations.
- Experience with stability projects, river crossings, and pipeline route planning is desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in SLIDE, PLAXIS, GEO 5, and SETTLE 3D is desirable.
- Specific knowledge of linear project design, preferably in hydrocarbon transportation infrastructure via pipelines.
- Knowledge of structures and civil engineering works associated with the oil and gas sector.
- Solid knowledge in your area of specialization, whether it be geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, or hydrology and hydraulics.
- A graduate degree in project management is desirable.
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency is desirable.

Communication

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is desirable.
