Virtual Assistant - Construction & Remodeling

About the Role

We're looking for a Virtual Assistant to help keep communication and project information organized. You'll communicate with clients and subcontractors, support administrative tasks, and learn to use JobTread to help the team maintain accurate project records.

This opportunity suits someone who takes initiative, follows through, and asks questions when something is unclear. Construction experience is helpful, and interior design or drawing skills would be a welcome addition.

Key Responsibilities

- Make and receive calls, communicating clearly and professionally.
- Follow up with clients, subcontractors, and business contacts.
- Support phone outreach and relationship building.
- Keep project information and administrative records organized.
- Learn JobTread and maintain information within the platform.
- Assist with project bookkeeping records in coordination with the primary bookkeeper.
- Follow through on open requests and communicate progress to the team.
- If you bring relevant design skills, assist with drawings or visualizations for remodeling projects.





Required Qualifications

- Fluent spoken and written English for regular phone conversations and team communication.
- Confidence making calls and following up with people.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.
- Comfort learning software, including JobTread.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate when help is needed.
- A respectful, service-focused approach to clients and coworkers.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting a construction or remodeling company.
- Familiarity with JobTread.
- Experience assisting with bookkeeping or project financial records.
- Interior design, drafting, Chief Architect, or SketchUp experience.
- Previous JobTread experience is welcome, but willingness and ability to learn are important.

Pay and Benefits

- Compensation: $8 - $10 USD per hour, depending on experience.
- Engagement type: Independent contractor.
- Work location: Remote.
- Expected weekly hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours depending on your skills.
- Schedule: Working hours aligned with the Ohio team's Eastern Time schedule.
- Training and orientation on company systems and procedures will be provided.
