About the Client

Our client is a U.S.-based exterior construction company specializing in siding, windows, decking, and full building envelope projects.
They are a small, hands-on team focused on quality workmanship, efficiency, and clear project execution.

Role Overview

Our client is looking to hire a Project Coordinator / Estimator to support estimating and project coordination efforts.
This is a new role and will start as part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) , with the potential to grow into a full-time position over time.

The main focus of this role is construction estimating , with additional project coordination and administrative support as needed.

The ideal candidate has a construction background , is comfortable working independently, and can manage estimates and project information using digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare material and labor estimates for construction projects
- Review drawings, plans, and specifications to define scope and requirements
- Support project coordination tasks related to estimating and handoff
- Maintain organized project data and documentation
- Work with spreadsheets (Excel) and estimating software




- Communicate clearly with the hiring manager regarding estimates and project details
- Assist with additional coordination tasks as needed

Requirements (Must-Haves)

- Previous experience in construction (estimating and/or project coordination)
- Experience using estimating software (specific tools can be trained)
- Experience with digital takeoffs for US exterior trades: fiber cement and engineered wood siding, rainscreen, windows, trim and decks
- Experience with exterior construction projects (siding, windows, decking, envelope)
- Ideally worked for an exterior subcontractor, not a GC
- Experience with project coordination: proposals, tracking jobs, Smartsheet or a CRM
- Comfortable with the use of AI tools on a daily basis
- Strong computer skills, including Excel

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with project tracking tools or CRMs
- Ability to improve or support internal processes

Work Schedule & Flexibility

- Part-time to start: ~20 hours per week
