Backblaze is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III (DBA) in LATAM to ensure the stability and reliability of production databases (Vitess/MySQL, Cassandra).

You will own high-availability architectures, on-call duties, incident response, and drive reliability across the SRE Database Engineering function.

You will design architecture, develop runbooks, and mentor Level 1/2 engineers while collaborating with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud tooling to advance operational excellence.
