The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the company's finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with financial policies and controls. The role leads accounting personnel and financial processes, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, inventory and manufacturing accounting, financial analysis, and continuous improvement of financial operations.

Job Description

- Lead and oversee accounting personnel, including internal and outsourced finance resources, ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounting activities.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning to support organizational goals.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, customer invoicing, and payment processes.
- Manage monthly and annual financial close activities, including bank reconciliations, asset registers, depreciation schedules, and financial reporting.
- Oversee inventory accounting, inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing-related accounting activities.
- Monitor supply chain costs, including supplier costs, currency exchange, and transportation expenses.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPI dashboards, gross margins, and budget performance to provide actionable business recommendations.
- Develop, implement,



and maintain financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and accounting processes.
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal requirements.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Drive process improvements and support the transition of outsourced finance functions into internal operations.
- Oversee accounting systems and ensure the effective use of financial tools, particularly QuickBooks Desktop.

Required Qualifications

- Experience overseeing financial operations, including AP, AR, collections, reconciliations, and financial closing.
- Proven ability to manage and lead internal and outsourced accounting resources.
- Proven ability to develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Proven ability to work independently and provide financial recommendations to senior leadership.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
