Opportunity alert: Web Data Extraction Engineer (Scraping & Automation) at Unosquare!

We’re growing our team. We’re looking for a Web Data Extraction Engineer to build and maintain reliable, scalable crawlers and scrapers for clients in the tech industry.

In this role, you’ll design extraction pipelines that turn complex, dynamic websites into clean, structured data that clients rely on. When target sites change, you’ll be the one who spots the breakage and gets the data flowing again, quickly and responsibly, in line with site terms and applicable law.

What you’ll do:

- Extract and normalize data from HTML, the DOM and APIs found through network inspection
- Handle rate limiting, fingerprinting and CAPTCHA challenges responsibly




- Monitor scrapers and fix breakages fast

What we’re looking for:

- 3+ years in software engineering, test automation or data extraction
- Strong HTTP, HTML/CSS/DOM, XPath and CSS selectors
- Professional English for direct client communication
- Bonus: Distributed crawling (Scrapy Cluster, Celery, Kafka), Docker, AWS/GCP, Postgres/MongoDB/S3, scraping compliance
