At Innovate AI Solutions, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven B2B Collections Specialist to join our growing team in Bucaramanga.

The adecuado candidate has a proven track record in business-to-business collections, exceptional written English communication skills, and the ability to manage outstanding accounts professionally and effectively.

Experience in the US logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage industry is highly preferred.

This position requires a proactive professional who can confidently communicate with business clients, resolve payment disputes, and drive timely collections while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage B2B accounts receivable portfolios and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Contact US-based business clients to secure payments and resolve overdue balances.
- Draft clear, professional, and persuasive collection emails in English.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize overdue accounts.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment delays, and billing disputes.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on payment commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, customer communications, and payment statuses.
- Coordinate with accounting, billing, and operations teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Identify recurring payment problems and recommend process improvements.
- Support collection performance goals and help reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Requirements

- Proven professional experience in B2B collections (business-to-business collections).




- Exceptional written English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent strongly preferred).
- Strong experience drafting professional collection emails and communicating with business clients.
- Understanding of accounts receivable processes, aging reports, and payment reconciliation.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and collection or accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be located in Bucaramanga or the surrounding metropolitan area and available to work 100% on-site.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

- Previous B2B collections experience in the US logistics, transportation, trucking, or freight brokerage industry.
- Experience managing accounts receivable for US-based customers.
- Familiarity with freight invoices, Proof of Delivery (POD), Bills of Lading (BOL), and freight billing disputes.
- Experience handling high-volume commercial collections portfolios.
- Knowledge of US business payment practices and collection workflows.
