Overview:

Zimmer Communications is growing! We are looking to add a new social media strategist to our Columbia team. Zimmer has a diverse client base and this role would be responsible for implementing social media strategy to reach and expand these respective audiences. The Social Media Strategist role is a marketing and communications role with an emphasis in social media management.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and interpret audience insights and industry trends to formulate effective social media strategy.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messagingand audience identification. Continue capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and bestpractices.
- Present social media strategy as part of overall campaign alongside marketing team in order to secure client investment.
- Generate, edit, and publish daily content while moderating all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy foreach community




- Collaborate with clients to go over analytics and finalize strategy for social platforms.

Requirements:

- Ability to present relevant information in a group setting where you are the point of contact for social media strategy
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Ability to incorporate client feedback into creative content and strategy
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite and Canva Pro, preferably with proven experience
- Graphic design experience preferred
- BS in Strategic Communications, Marketing, Business or Public Relations preferred
