Founded in 2019, they offer full-service logistics including port pickups, reefer, flatbed, and team shipments while acting as an extension of clients’ teams.

About the Role

Iron Peak Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage customer invoicing, outstanding receivables, collections, and accurate financial records. The adecuado candidate takes ownership, communicates effectively, and follows through on payment issues.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and send accurate customer invoices with required supporting documentation.
- Monitor receivables and proactively follow up on outstanding and overdue invoices by email and phone.
- Communicate with customers about payment status, disputes, and collections professionally and persistently.
- Record and apply incoming payments; investigate short payments,



unapplied cash, and billing discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records and collection notes.
- Prepare AR aging reports, collection updates, and expected payment schedules.
- Coordinate with sales and operations to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role.

Required Skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable making collection calls and handling difficult conversations.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, analytical ability, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Freight brokerage, transportation, logistics, or TMS experience is a plus.
