Staff Accountant
Location CAMACOL Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Schedule Monday to Friday, 900 AM 600 PM
Days Off Weekends
About the Role
We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for supporting the companys accounting operations through general accounting and accounts payable activities.
The adecuado candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys working in a fastpaced, entrepreneurial company. You will work closely with the Accounting team and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Review, classify, and process accounts payable transactions.
Process vendor invoices within company systems.
Maintain accounts receivable records and prepare invoices with supporting documentation.
Record monthly journal entries, including adjustments and accruals.
Record and reconcile daily cash transactions.
Assist with monthend closing activities.
Support the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
Qualifications
Education Experience




Bachelors degree in Accounting or Accounting Technician certification.
1 to 3 years of experience in general accounting.
Experience processing invoices and handling accounting transactions.
Technical Skills
Ability to manage high volumes of transactional data.
Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting processes.
Experience with invoice processing and account reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and accountability.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Selfmotivated with excellent organizational skills.
