Key Skills
- IBM i / AS400 system monitoring and L1 support
- Monitor LPARs, jobs, subsystems, CPU, memory, disk & system health
- Job/queue management: hold, release, end, failed/stuck jobs
- Backup monitoring: BRMS, backup failures, unsaved objects
- User administration: profiles, passwords, access
- IFS & storage monitoring
- Basic TCP/IP/network troubleshooting
- IBM Power / HMC / VIOS monitoring
- Incident management, ITIL, SLA & escalation to L2/L3
- Strong production support and shift handover experience
Must-Have
2–4 yrs IBM i/AS400 + production monitoring + job management + backup/BRMS + LPAR/HMC/VIOS + basic networking + 24x7 support.
