Job Description

As a Project Planning & Control Analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing the financial performance of assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with both company standards and customer expectations. Working within the wider GP Finance organisation - which includes the Finance Management Office, Project Finance Office, and Finance Service Centre - you’ll support effective project initiation, cost management, forecasting, invoicing, and financial analysis. By partnering closely with Service Delivery teams and contributing to strong financial controls, you’ll ensure projects are set up correctly, monitored effectively, and delivered with full financial integrity.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, cost estimates, and financial schedules.
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the CRS‑8022‑Finance department.
- Support forecasting processes and update financial models based on changing assumptions.




- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and compliance reviews.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance planning and control efficiency.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project financial planning, budgeting, or cost control.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP or project management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Project).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of GAAP and corporate financial reporting standards.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
