POSITION OVERVIEW

The Matchmaker is responsible for strategically aligning SYNC's existing talent with its clientele. This dynamic role lives between Sales (with knowledge of the volume and types of prospective clients in the sales cycle), Recruiting (where our talent pipeline is born), and Operations (where our talent is deployed). The Matchmaker evaluates internal talent, recommends the strategic matches, and facilitates presenting candidates to our clients.

The idóneo candidate has strong judgment, excellent people-reading skills, and the ability to make high-impact decisions that directly affect client satisfaction and retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Client Needs Assessment
- Perform deep, multidimensional analysis of the needs of our clientele using data collected throughout the sales cycle and other available public information
- Translate complex data sets and deep research into clear talent requirements
- Talent Evaluation & Internal Talent Intelligence
- Maintain a deep understanding of SYNC's active talent roster
- Analyze each specialist's strengths, communication style, work approach, education, and work history
- Identify which specialists are best suited for different types of clients
- Strategic Talent Matching
- Identify and recommend the best-fit specialist for each client using proprietary tools, resources, and technology
- Evaluate compatibility based on skills, personality, communication style, and workflow alignment




- Make high-quality matchmaking decisions that prioritize long-term success, not just short-term fit
- Provide clear reasoning and recommendations when presenting candidates
- Client & Specialist Presentation
- Coordinate and participate in presenting candidates to clients
- Guide conversations to ensure clarity, alignment, and mutual expectations
- Identify any potential mismatches early and address them proactively
- Assist in providing a seamless handoff of successful matches between Operations Team Leaders and clients

REQUIREMENTS

- C1 level or higher English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, Human Resources, or recruiting
- Strong ability to evaluate people beyond technical skills (communication, personality, work style)
- Experience working directly with clients in decision-making processes
- Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
- Strong interpersonal intelligence and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients is a plus

SCHEDULE

This position is FULL TIME and candidates must work exclusively for SYNC to meet the terms of the underlying Contractor Agreement. A minimum of 40 hours of work per week is expected Monday through Friday. A typical schedule is 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM COT), with a daily one-hour lunch break.
