We are looking for multi-skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of VFX Artist with 4+ years of experience in VFX/CGI, specializing in 3D character creation, animation, photorealistic CGI, FX simulations, lighting, rendering, and compositing. Skilled in integrating CG into live-action footage and independently managing projects and render pipelines.

The salary range is 2,000 USD to 2,500 USD per month, depending on the candidate's experience and seniority.

Candidates based in Colombia are preferred; candidates from other Latin American countries may be considered. Candidates in a time zone outside of the western hemisphere will NOT be considered. The role is 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

- Design, model, rig, and animate original 3D characters and mascots with distinct personality, expression, and movement
- Create hyper-realistic CG products and objects that maintain high quality in close-ups and hero shots
- Integrate CG elements into live-action footage using accurate camera tracking, lighting, and shadows
- Build complex simulations, including fluids, particles, smoke, cloth, destruction, and other dynamic effects
- Produce film-quality, fully CGI sequences and cinematic spots




- Develop effects that interact with real people and environments using body tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing
- Deliver finished assets in multiple formats and aspect ratios for social media, digital ads, and campaigns
- Build and maintain a library of reusable rigs, models, and effects to streamline production

Requirements:

- Fluent in English, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HAVE A FLUENT PROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION IN ENGLISH
- 4+ years of professional VFX/CGI experience in film, TV, commercials, or high-end brand content
- A strong demo reel showcasing character animation and photoreal CG integrated into live action
- Expert proficiency in at least one primary 3D software package: Houdini, Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D
- Strong FX simulation skills, preferably in Houdini
- Proven experience in character modeling, rigging, and animation
- Advanced compositing skills in Nuke and/or After Effects, including camera tracking, matchmoving, keying, rotoscoping, and color matching
- Demonstrated expertise in photoreal look-dev, lighting, and rendering using Redshift, Arnold, Octane, Karma, V-Ray, or similar engines
- A strong eye for realism regarding physics, weight, light, and motion
- Proven ability to scope projects, meet deadlines, and manage a render pipeline independently
