The Qualifications We Seek

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
- More than 5 years of hands-on mobile development experience in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or e-commerce environment, including at least 5 years of professional Flutter and Dart experience.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter, Dart, state management frameworks such as BLoC, Provider, and Riverpod, and the development of complex custom UI components.
- Proven experience integrating mobile applications with complex microservices architectures, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to translate Figma designs into responsive Flutter code and collaborate with designers to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Proven ability to collaborate with backend and web engineering teams, resolve implementation challenges, and define clear development tickets in Jira.
- Strong technical documentation skills, with experience maintaining centralized, cross-functional engineering documentation.

- Experience with mobile continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, including Codemagic, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions, and automated application distribution.
- Advanced knowledge of state management techniques and software architectural patterns, including Clean Architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, backlog-driven team environment with multiple stakeholders across product, engineering,



and legal departments.
- Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop effective technical solutions.
- Strong adaptability, flexibility, and an Agile mindset to respond effectively to changing project requirements and business priorities.
- At least 1 year of experience in an agency or client-facing environment.
- Previous experience in DTC, fashion, or high-growth e-commerce environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing native mobile e-commerce applications, with familiarity with Shopify's Storefront API and custom checkout constraints considered an advantage.
- Exposure to headless content management system (CMS) integrations, particularly Sanity CMS, to support dynamic content delivery within mobile applications.

Your Daily Tasks

Flutter App Development & Backlog Clearance

- Develop, test, and document mobile application features using Flutter and Dart.
- Manage and resolve development backlog items while prioritizing application speed, performance, and user experience.

Figma-to-Code Implementation

- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive mobile user interface components.
- Manage frontend development requirements from initial design through quality assurance (QA) approval.

API & Microservices Integration

- Collaborate with backend engineering teams to integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices into mobile applications.
- Ensure seamless data exchange, reliable system connectivity, and efficient error management.

State Management & Architecture

- Develop, support, and maintain scalable application architectures and robust state management solutions using frameworks such as BLoC and Riverpod.
- Ensure application stability, code maintainability, and long-term scalability.

Performance Profiling

- Monitor and optimize mobile application performance, frame render times, and memory consumption.
- Deliver smooth, responsive, native-like user experiences across iOS and Android platforms.

Cross-Platform Parity

- Collaborate with web engineering teams to maintain consistent functionality and feature parity across web and mobile applications.
- Ensure a cohesive user experience across digital platforms.

App Store Deployment





- Manage mobile application releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, provisioning profiles, and application version control throughout the deployment process.

Intake & Refinement Participation

- Participate in weekly backlog refinement meetings to assess new epics, development tickets, and mobile application requirements.
- Evaluate technical impact, assign appropriate labels, and define development scope for upcoming features.

E-Commerce & Shopify Architecture

- Develop and maintain complex mobile e-commerce functionality through Shopify's Storefront API.
- Implement and optimize product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout processes, and custom application session management logic.

Sanity CMS Integration

- Integrate Sanity CMS to support dynamic, content-driven mobile application experiences.
- Ensure seamless synchronization and presentation of content updates within the mobile application.
