Google EDU Product Advisor

Location: Barranquilla

As a Google EDU Product Advisor, you will serve as a product expert within the Scaled Sales organization, supporting K12 and Higher Education customers in adopting and maximizing the value of Google for Education solutions.

You will work closely with Inside Sales Representatives, Solution Sellers, channel partners, and cross-functional Google teams to drive product awareness, identify business opportunities, support deal execution, and accelerate revenue growth.

This role combines product expertise, sales enablement, customer engagement, and educational technology knowledge. You will deliver product demonstrations, provide pre-sales support, train sales teams on product updates and market trends, and develop compelling use cases that demonstrate the value of Google for Education solutions.

You will also collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to execute business strategies, gather customer feedback, and strengthen Google’s presence across the K12 and Higher Education markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Expertise & Sales Enablement: Act as a subject matter expert on Google for Education solutions, providing product knowledge, training, and guidance to Inside Sales teams.
- Pre-Sales Support: Deliver product demonstrations, respond to product-related inquiries, and provide on-call support to sales representatives throughout the sales cycle.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with Scaled Sales Solution Sellers to identify business opportunities, advance deals through the sales pipeline, and support successful deal closure.
- Customer Engagement: Support relationships with K12 and Higher Education institutions, helping customers understand the capabilities and benefits of Google for Education solutions.
- Channel Partner Collaboration: Empower channel partners to promote Google for Education solutions, identify joint opportunities, and support sales execution.




- Market & Product Insights: Stay informed about technology trends, educational technology developments, and product updates to provide relevant insights to internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to execute business strategies and drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Customer Feedback: Gather customer insights and product feedback, sharing relevant findings with internal stakeholders.
- Events & Outreach: Participate in scaled outreach initiatives, including webinars, presentations, training sessions, and industry events.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or at least four years of relevant experience in K12 or Higher Education sales in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Educational Technology (EdTech), preferably in product training, sales, customer engagement, or technology enablement.
- Strong verbal communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technology products and solutions to different audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in EdTech leadership, product training, sales enablement, or a similar role.
- Previous experience working within the education industry, particularly K12 or Higher Education.
- Experience supporting sales teams with deal execution, opportunity development, and pipeline management.
- Ability to navigate complex institutional environments and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good understanding of the technology market, cloud computing, and Google applications.
- Experience in software sales, account management, or customer success.

Google certifications are highly desirable:

- Google Certified Trainer.
- Google Certified Educator Level 1.
- Google Certified Educator Level 2.
