Description:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to source reliable trucking companies, secure transportation capacity, and ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time.

This role is responsible for developing carrier relationships, negotiating competitive rates, matching loads with qualified carriers, monitoring shipment progress, and maintaining accurate carrier and load information.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and identify safe, reliable, and qualified trucking companies to cover customer shipments.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with carriers.
- Negotiate competitive carrier rates and terms while supporting company revenue and margin goals.
- Match available loads with appropriate carriers based on capacity, requirements, and availability.
- Place bids and secure carrier capacity for assigned loads.
- Monitor load status and provide timely updates regarding ETAs, delays, pickups, and deliveries.
- Communicate with carriers and customers to resolve operational issues and maintain service quality.




- Review carrier backgrounds, liabilities, and compliance requirements as needed.
- Monitor carrier performance, including on-time pickup and delivery.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate load and carrier information in the appropriate systems.
- Perform tracking and shipment follow-up when required.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Accounting, and other internal departments.
- Generate and provide operational data or reports to management and related teams.
- Support multiple accounts or clients and adapt to changing operational priorities.
- Perform additional transportation and carrier management responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous experience in Carrier Sales, Carrier Management, Freight Brokerage, Transportation, or Logistics.
- Strong carrier negotiation skills and ability to negotiate rates effectively.
- Experience sourcing and booking carriers for freight shipments.
- English level: B2–C1.
