What You’ll Own

- Close Leadership: Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including the calendar, task ownership, and on-time delivery.
- Review & US GAAP Reporting: Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements before they reach US leadership, applying US GAAP consistently.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee the general ledger, AP/AR, payroll accounting, and cash reconciliation.
- Team Management: Manage and coach accountants, set priorities, and keep delivery on track against close deadlines.
- Controls & Audit: Maintain accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls, and coordinate audits and tax requests with external firms.
- Reporting & Partnership:



Give US finance leaders and department heads clear reporting and variance explanations.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 7+ years of accounting experience, including close leadership or formal review responsibility.
- Team leadership: Experience managing, mentoring, or reviewing the work of accountants.
- Accounting standards: Hands-on experience with US GAAP, or strong NIIF (IFRS) experience with exposure to US clients or entities.
- Technical depth: Strong command of accruals, reconciliations, financial statement review, and audit support.
- Good English communication: Confidence working directly with US finance teams and senior stakeholders.

Good to Have

- Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero, SAP, or similar accounting ERPs.
- Multi-entity, intercompany, or consolidation experience.
- Contador Público (with tarjeta profesional), CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience working with US startups, growing businesses, or international teams.
