Senior Java Backend Engineer – Integrations at Baires

DevIn this role, you'll write backend Java services that power integrations with external systems, applying strong API design and event-driven synchronization patterns.

Handling OAuth and multi-tenant permissioning, you'll build the authentication and authorization logic that keeps connectors secure across many tenants.

What You’ll Do- Develop Java backend services powering API and system integrations, including REST, webhooks, and event-driven sync.- Implement OAuth and multi-tenant permissioning and authentication logic.- Build ETL pipelines including connectors, parsers, and schema normalization.- Develop integrations with platforms such as M365, Outlook, Teams, Slack, or iManage.- Ensure connector reliability through contract testing, versioning,



and regression coverage.

What We Are Looking For- 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.- Strong proficiency in Java.- Deep experience with API and systems integration, including REST, webhooks, and event-driven sync.- Experience with OAuth and multi-tenant permissioning/auth flows.- Background with ETL and data pipelines, including connectors, parsers, and schema normalization.- Experience integrating with platforms such as M365, Outlook, Teams, Slack, or iManage.- Experience with QA, contract testing, and connector reliability including versioning and regression across integrations.- Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have- Experience with AWS, including Lambda, SQS/SNS, and S3 for integration workloads.- Familiarity with MCP or agentic tool integration.- Experience with Bedrock.- Background using Java for core platform interfacing or SDK connectors.- Legal tech or eDiscovery domain exposure.
