A convenir Contrato a término indefinido Jornada completa Remoto At Structure 22 Engineering, we are looking for a structural engineer to join our New York-based team remotely and contribute to building design projects. We are a team that values clear communication, thoughtful engineering and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and design building structural systems, including foundations and structural framing.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings and details under the direction of our engineering team.
- Coordinate with team members, incorporate review comments and communicate questions clearly.
- Review architectural information and help resolve structural coordination issues.

Qualifications

- A degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
- At least four years of experience working for a U.S.-based company.
- Practical experience in structural analysis and design of buildings, including:
- Two-way flat plate systems.
- Steel building design.
- Foundation design.
- Familiarity with applicable U.S. building codes and standards, including ACI, AISC and ASCE 7.
- Proficiency in relevant structural analysis and drafting software. Please identify your experience with ETABS, SAFE, RAM, AutoCAD and Revit.




- Strong written and spoken English for daily communication with our New York team.
- Ability to work independently, follow office standards and manage deadlines.

Schedule and location

This is a fully remote role for candidates based in Colombia. Availability during our 9 a.m.–5 p.m. New York business hours is required year-round.

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Please include your resume and describe your building design experience, software proficiency and role on previous projects. Relevant work samples are welcome where you have permission to share them.

This position focuses on structural building design. Experience limited to roads, utilities, construction supervision or mechanical engineering does not match the role.
