Journey Freight Colombia has an exciting opportunity available at their Medellin, Colombia location. The adecuado candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of Recruiting, HR's best practices and experience with Health and Safety regulations, employment laws and organizational development. The role will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support the overall business objectives.

POSITION: Recruiter/ Human Resources - Monday-Friday 7:30AM - 5:00PM

LOCATION: Medellin, Colombia

START DATE: Term commences as soon as possible

As a recruiter/ human resources assistant with Journey Freight Colombia you will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring top talent to strengthen our team. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment process, collaborating with managers and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, health and safety requirements, dealing with day to day employee issues.

Key Responsibilities:

● Conducting thorough candidate sourcing and screening.

● Coordinating and conducting interviews with potential candidates.

● Collaborating with manager to understand staffing needs.

● Managing the recruitment pipeline and keeping stakeholders informed.

● Oversee employee relations initiatives, ensuring a positive and inclusive work place culture.

● Lead the talent management process, including performance management,



career development and employee engagement.

● Implement effective recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract and retain top talent.

● Manage requirements for Health and Safety regulations

● Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

● Identify training needs and program development to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Training of new employees in the company systems

● Ability to multi task and deal with issues constructively.

Qualifications :

● Bachelors related with human resources.

● 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

● Strong knowledge of recruitment. Previous experience in Logistics a must.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.

● English Level B2+
