Job Description

Drives growth (delivering NS, volume GPROS and OP growth, share growth) through managing the P&L; by leading a marketing team and executing and activating locally the global and regional marketing strategies, managing customer and channel brand and communication needs, demand generation, and customer experience. Contributes with the regional team to define innovation and strategic brand needs.

Works in conjunction with GMs to develop and execute strategic long (+5 years) and short-term business plans , including innovation, channel, communication, promotions and prioritizations along the year.

- Scope: North LAO

- Business Type: B2B

- Direct Reports: 4 - Lead multiple and different skilled senior managers,

managers and analysts in Activation, Customer Experience , Demand Generation , Customer Marketing.

- Reports To : North LAO Director. Indirect dotted line reporting to LAO Marketing Director.

Talent Management

- Manages all marketing functions including Brand & Category Activation, Customer Experience, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing by leading the countries marketing team members

- Ensure appropriate talent selection and Builds talent in the marketing team by applying the KC Way of Brand Building to recruit, develop and retain the right talent

- Integrate I&D; into everything that we do, using our strength to combat inequities for our people, our consumers and our communities around the world – to make lives better today and tomorrow.

- Manage Global, Regional and Local cross functional stakeholders to inspire, influence and manage (VP, R&D;, Operations, Supply, Sales, belong others)

Business and Marketing Leadership

- Responsible for delivering the P&L;

- Develops & executes annual business plans

- Execute omnichannel (online and offline) marketing strategies.

- Leads Go-to-market optimization and Channel strategy development in conjunction with the country sales leaders

- Leads selection, ongoing relationship & annual performance management of all marketing activities

- In conjunction with GM, and Commercial excellence leader, designs & executes Distributor / Channel Treatment Strategy for assigned partners

Channel & Trade Marketing

- Work in partnership with Sales Managers developing market plans and initiatives to deliver growth targets, based on customer and distributor segmentation and leverages Category Foundations to deliver growth targets for assigned Indirect and Direct Channel

Customer Experience

- Lead the commercial execution of revenue generating marketing strategies and initiatives to increase new business, reduce customer churn and increase loyalty with End Users, DSRs and Distributors. In line with our brand and commercial program strategies.

Customer Marketing

- Lead omnichannel commercial programs & sales promotions through the channel and with the sales organization to deliver ABP objectives for acquisition / penetration / retention

- Builds capability of sales organization in key jobs to be done & insights associated with appropriate market segments to improve sales closure rates

Brand Marketing

- Represents the country in regional projects to help build innovation and categories strategies.

- Drive price and mix opportunities to ensure profitable and sustainable growth, leading commercialization in market & maintaining alignment with LAO brand/category strategy.

- Lead the execution of the communication and activation plan for both customers and channel.


- Bachelor Degree

- +10 years of experience in marketing, preferable in B2B, and team management roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership behavior

- Resolving complex problems and translating to business opportunities

- Managing & successfully influencing Global and Regional complex stakeholder relationships

- Proven track record of tracking communication performance and sales results.


- Masters / MBA with concentration in Marketing

- Experience in a B2B environment

- Experience in Customer Experience and Sales

Commercial / Functional Skills:

- Strong business & organizational acumen – understanding of market dynamics, P&L; management & commercial mindset etc.

- Product portfolio, digital shelf & promotion management

- Strong understanding of brand foundational tools

- Strong analytics skills

- Able to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track

- Able to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances

- Demonstrated contagious positive energy to influence, inspire & drive results

- Be able to bring the culture to an innovative and agile mindset

- Change Management Skills

- English and Spanish language proficiency
