**Overview and key responsibilities**At Prysmian, we are looking for an Accounting and Tax Professional based in Bogotá, Colombia, who will be responsible for ensuring the recording, analysis, reconciliation and monitoring of all the company’s accounting transactions, whilst guaranteeing the traceability and quality of the information produced.**Main responsibilities*** Record, reconcile and post invoices from domestic and overseas suppliers and creditors, as well as other financial transactions, ensuring their accuracy, timeliness and proper traceability. Report any developments to the relevant departments in a timely manner.* Carry out monthly reconciliations of accounting accounts, including bank accounts, taxes, provisions and foreign currency transactions (realised and unrealised exchange differences).* Prepare, review and submit tax returns (VAT, Pay-as-you-earn, ICA, ReteICA, Income Tax and Deferred Tax), ensuring accuracy, compliance with deadlines and monthly reconciliation. Report amounts payable for inclusion in the cash flow statement.* Record,



analyse and monitor inventory movements, identifying variations, inconsistencies or situations requiring intervention and reporting them in a timely manner.* Monitor, calculate and record deferred items and provisions (balances, utilisation, increases and decreases) in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.* Manage expense approvals via Concur and record the corresponding transactions in the ERP system. Verify and report non-deductible expenses in accordance with current regulations, and propose improvements to reduce them. Ensure the proper recording of each expense by validating whether it is deductible or non-deductible.* Record, monitor and analyse transactions relating to fixed assets, including purchases, additions, improvements, reclassifications, withdrawals, disposals and sales.
