About the Role
As a Tech Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will shape the technical direction of a consumer‑facing platform, ensuring it scales reliably as the product and community grow. This role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, influencing architecture, quality, and cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll own critical systems, mentor a growing team, and modernize a complex codebase. It’s a high‑impact opportunity in a fast‑paced, product‑led environment.
What You Will Do
- Architect and code robust, scalable features across front‑end and back‑end
- Work deeply in an existing web application codebase, enhancing core modules and integrating with a graph database
- Implement state management with Redux and design performant React components
- Manage a small but growing team of developers
- Divide tasks and assign them to individuals
- Review code
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams by communicating progress and blockers early and often
- Maintain high standards for documentation, testing, and code reviews
- Architect solutions that handle high throughput while maintaining low latency
- Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve system reliability
MUST HAVES
- 7+ years of full‑stack development experience
- 3+ years of team lead or management experience
- Proven track record of mentoring other engineers and driving technical initiatives
- Experience with graph databases (Neptune with Gremlin preferred)
