Job Title Scheduler Home Care Services
Position Summary
The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining daily caregiver schedules to ensure timely, highquality care for clients. This role serves as a key communication link between clients, caregivers, and internal teams, ensuring coverage, compliance, and continuity of care in a fastpaced home care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and ongoing caregiver schedules based on client care plans and caregiver availability
Match caregivers to clients based on skills, certifications, location, and client preferences
Communicate schedule assignments, updates, and changes to caregivers and clients in a timely and professional manner
Handle callouts, lastminute schedule changes, and emergency coverage to ensure uninterrupted client care
Monitor schedules for compliance with labor laws, overtime limits, and agency policies
Coordinate with nursing, HR, and operations teams regarding new hires, caregiver availability, and client startofcare
Update and maintain accurate scheduling and visit records in scheduling software and electronic health record EHR systems
Confirm scheduled visits,



track attendance, and address missed or late shifts
Respond to caregiver and client scheduling inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and empathy
Support payroll accuracy by verifying hours worked and resolving time or scheduling discrepancies
Participate in an oncall rotation as required
