**Job Title**: Production Support Engineer JD - 35% shift differential

**Location**: Lorena neighborhood (by Viva Laureles), Office-based

**Positions Available**: 1

**Shifts Available**: From 10pm to 7am (Monday-Friday) - 35% shift differential

**Base Salary Range**: $4,000,000 - $6,000,000 COP per month, based on experience and English proficiency

Join our technical team as a Production Support Engineer providing support for critical systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability. You will diagnose issues, execute established troubleshooting techniques, and collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide 24/7 on call production support, recovery, monitoring of performance and availability for critical systems.
- Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions using established troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance, manage and troubleshoot messaging systems, and ensure reliable data flow and processing
- Contribute to QA testing activities, such as performing manual pre-deployment QA and creating automated tests to validate system functionality.
- Maintain and participate in documentation of incidents, resolutions, and runbook updates.
- Assist in system maintenance activities and coordinate upgrades as required
- Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, ensuring mínimal service disruption
- Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuous service coverage

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- English proficiency (B2 level required) - Must pass language assessment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven Experience in a production support role,



preferably in a DevOps environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with an understanding of system architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in using monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK stack).
- Production Support Engineer JD 2 Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Pulumi) to streamline processes.
- Knowledge of database management (PostgreSQL, microsoft SQL Redis) and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work fixed shifts and maintain consistent attendance

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience with manual QA and/or automated testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks

Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks.

Proficient in collaboration and project management tools such as ServiceNow, Asana, Notion, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.

Únete a nuestro equipo técnico como Ingeniero de Soporte de Producción, brindando soporte a sistemas críticos para garantizar su rendimiento y disponibilidad óptimos. Diagnosticarás problemas, aplicarás técnicas de solución ya establecidas y colaborarás con los equipos de desarrollo y operaciones para mejorar la confiabilidad del sistema.

**Responsabilidades Principales**:

- Brindar soporte de producción 24/7 bajo guardia, recuperación y monitoreo del rendimiento y disponibilidad de sistemas críticos.
- Diagnosticar problemas, identificar causas raíz e implementar soluciones utilizando técnicas de solución de problemas establecidas.
- Colaborar con los equipos de desarrollo y operaciones para mejorar la confiabilidad y el rendimiento del sistema, gestionar y solucionar problemas en sistemas de mensajería, y asegurar un flujo y procesamiento de datos confiables.
- Contribuir a actividades de pruebas de calidad (QA), como realizar pruebas manuales previas al despliegue y crear pruebas automatizadas para validar la funcionalidad del sistema.
