We are looking for an **Accounting Analyst** in **Medellín**. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the company's overall financial operations.
**Skills/Experience required**:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced English Level: B2 or higher.
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role using accounting software (Sage, SAP, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- _Plus: _familiarity with tax filing.
**Principal Duties**:
- Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Excel Reporting: Create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to track financial data, perform analysis, and generate reports for management.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
- Assist with Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing requested financial information and documentation.
- General Support: Assist the accounting team with various tasks, including month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing journal entries, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
