Overview
The Technical Offer Management Electrical Engineer is responsible for development the electrical engineering during the sales phase of a project (pre-engineering, cost calculation and hand-over to execution teams) in order to review, validate, adjust or propose ideas or solutions for GEA customers. Travel will be required for short periods of time (< 10% travelling time expected).
Responsibilities
- Generate pre-engineering of electrical development.
- Control architecture design
- Standards and norms to be considered
- List of equipment controls, control modules and devices
- Estimation of installation costs
- Definition of installation requirements for the project
- Scheduler of electrical activities
- Dimensioning hardware list generation for electrical control
- Knowledge of electrical norms in the region (NFPA, IEC, RETIE…)
- Knowledge in low voltage equipment: Transformers, UPS, Variable Frequency Drives, Electrical protections
- Knowledge in electrical control
- Knowledge in pneumatic control
- Know-how of electrical design software (EPLAN)




- Review existing engineering and make necessary changes to ensure the best solution
- Knowledge of the main general automation brands
- Knowledge of the main industrial protocol networks
- Knowledge in electrical installation and FAT procedures
