The company operates in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment where accuracy, accountability, and employee trust are essential.Role OverviewWe're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support end-to-end payroll operations across the U.S. and Canada.You'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with all applicable regulations.
This position partners closely with HR, Accounting, and Finance to maintain data integrity, resolve payroll issues, and continuously improve processes.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, takes ownership, and enjoys solving complex payroll challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll ProcessingProcess semi-monthly payroll for U.S. and Canadian employeesEnsure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductionsMaintain payroll data in systems (e.g., ADP) and validate information before processingPayroll Operations & Employee SupportManage payroll inbox and respond to employee inquiries (pay discrepancies, deductions, direct deposit, etc.)Review and process payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, and benefit updatesReconciliations & Accounting SupportReconcile payroll data, accounts, and tax filings; investigate and resolve discrepanciesProcess payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close activitiesCompliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local payroll regulations,
