GGGI works in the Andean Region through the Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru in-country programs. GGGI has been working with the Government of Colombia to advance green growth policies and green investments through strategic partnerships such as with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Treasury and Public Credit, and the National Planning Department, among others. GGGI Colombia has scaled its impact significantly over the past few years. It has transformed into a portfolio-based country program, with programs and projects of varied sizes covering various GGGI Programmatic Solutions, including Sustainable Forests, Solar PV, Climate Resilient Agriculture, Climate Action, and Green Investments.

GGGI has been collaborating with the Government of Ecuador, under the leadership of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition (MAATE) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF)



and has embarked on an ambitious effort to increase the mobilization of international climate finance and private investments for a climate-resilient, and low-carbon development.

Finally, GGGI has been working with the Government of Perú for the past years. Now, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Government of Perú, GGGI is rolling out a technical assistance program to the Government of Peru titled "Mobilizing International Climate Finance and Private Investments for Low-Carbon and Climate Resilient Development in Peru." The program, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness and Preparatory Support Program, aims to play a pivotal role in the implementation of the country's Climate Finance Strategy (CFS) and Green Finance Roadmap (GFR), which outline strategic measures and actions to accelerate the flow of international climate finance and private sector investments towards low-carbon, resilient projects and initiatives.
