Role Description: Negotiate and manage the operational and tactical acquisition of goods and services at a local level, with a purchasing scope between 0 and 50,000 USD, from the creation of the purchase request to the delivery logistics of the good and service, to guarantee the continuity of plant operations ensuring quality, availability, and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring beneficial agreements for the company.
Perform comparative analysis of suppliers and select those that offer the best balance between cost, quality, and delivery time.
Manage the delivery and reception of goods and services at the plant, guaranteeing the delivery times agreed upon with suppliers.
Follow up on accounts payable with assigned suppliers in order to mitigate risks of suspension of goods shipment or service provision.
Manage the creation of suppliers with the required supports and documentation in accordance with area policies and procedures, to guarantee supplier availability for future acquisitions and negotiations.
Propose and implement savings projects and initiatives in acquisitions to contribute to efficiency and reduce operating costs.
