Senior Sourcing Specialist

Are you passionate about driving strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and delivering measurable value through procurement excellence?
We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration activities across multiple indirect procurement categories. This role will be responsible for identifying savings opportunities, negotiating supplier agreements, supporting stakeholder needs, and ensuring procurement processes are aligned with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier, Spend & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business objectives and operational requirements.
- Manage supplier communications, including sourcing activities, issue resolution, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, supplier performance, and category opportunities to support sourcing strategies and business decisions.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify procurement opportunities and develop sourcing solutions that deliver value and efficiency.
- Support supplier onboarding, master data maintenance, and supplier information management activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements related to quality, service, responsiveness, and compliance.
- Prepare and deliver data-driven insights and presentations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Operations
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for assigned procurement categories and delegated spend.
- Lead sourcing events, including competitive bidding, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Drive cost savings initiatives and identify opportunities for value creation across indirect procurement categories.
- Support purchase requisition and purchase order processes while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service levels, and delivery requirements.
- Resolve supplier inquiries, payment issues, disputes, and procurement-related concerns.
- Support working capital and cash flow improvement initiatives through effective supplier engagement and procurement practices.
Contract Development & Management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts using approved templates and procurement standards.
- Lead contract negotiations while ensuring alignment with company policies, risk management requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, including creation, approvals, execution, amendments, renewals, terminations, and document retention.
- Partner with legal, finance, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure contract accuracy and appropriate risk management.
- Track contract performance and recommend modifications to support evolving business requirements.
- Ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with applicable regulations, internal controls, and established service-level agreements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to contract management processes and procurement operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier management, or strategic purchasing.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and supplier relationship management.
- Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in procurement systems, contract management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree, MBA, or professional procurement certifications.
- Experience in indirect procurement categories such as Marketing, Human Resources, Business Services, IT, Facilities, Capital Projects, Construction, Research & Development, or Professional Services.
- Experience working in multinational or general organizations with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of contract lifecycle management platforms and strategic sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with spend analytics, supplier performance management, and category strategy development.
- Experience delivering cost savings, process improvements, and procurement transformation initiatives.
