What we’re looking for:
- First + foremost: This person must be located in Colombia, be fluent in English at a level C1 or higher, and be comfortable working a remote position with high communication expectations
- Must be able to work 9:00a - 5:00p (Central Standard Time)
- Can commit to this position being your only full-time employment
- Have a four-year degree (any major)
- At least 1 year of technical SEO experience, 2 is preferred (not copywriting)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics & Ahrefs
- Have an analytical mind and enjoy working with numbers and interpreting data
- Previous professional working experience, especially with an agency, is a bonus but not a requirement

What you’ll be doing:
- Perform keyword research
- Setup content calendars
- Perform status checks on SEO accounts
- Perform content optimization
- Create internal linking
- Perform site audit fixes
- Complete technical tasks assigned by SEO Strategists
- Work closely with our in-house SEO Strategists to understand account performance
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to show progress on your work as well as Monday morning team L10 meetings and weekly one-on-ones with your direct supervisor (with your camera on)
- Track your work and deadlines in Teamwork and communicate in Slack
This is a remote independent contractor position with a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that values team culture and well-being. The salary for this role is $15,000 USD annually (approximately $4.58 million COP monthly). All roles at Hook Agency, both regular and contract, are subject to a 30-day probationary period.
