Linux Systems Administrator (Remote, Supporting U.S. Clients)

- In the Linux Systems Administrator role, you will be administering, supporting, and securing engineering-focused IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for following security best practices and evolving services based on the ever-changing IT security environment.



Automation is key for any complex infrastructure; you will develop and maintain the necessary automation to administer Linux systems at scale. In this role, you will work closely with integral IT and engineering teams both within AMS DataSerfs and our partner’s staff._
- You will work closely with U.S.based stakeholders, requiring strong English communication skills and the ability to operate effectively across time zones._

Job Description - what you'll do
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
- Escalation for front-line support for Linux servers and workstations in hardware development labs and data centers
- Handle daily administration of complex, large scale Linux-based engineering development environments following Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices
- Perform routine system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
