We're looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products.
This position will initially serve as the primary QA Engineer supporting a project team, with future opportunities to grow into a QA Lead or Manager role based on business needs and performance.
What you’ll do:
- Define and execute risk-based testing strategies for software projects.
- Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Validate complex web-based, mobile, and multi-tiered applications.
- Track, document, and report defects, risks, and testing metrics.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support testing activities across multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.
- Partner with Automation Engineers to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Contribute to QA process improvements, testing infrastructure enhancements, and best practices.
- Mentor junior QA Engineers and support their technical development.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and/or Software Development.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong experience testing web-based, mobile, and multi-tier applications.
- Advanced test planning and test strategy development skills.
- Experience with functional testing and/or performance/load testing tools.
- Experience testing database-driven applications and writing SQL queries.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in dynamic environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
