We're looking for the first person to own Dapta's finances end to end — from the monthly close to the financial story we tell investors. You'll report directly to the CEO.

Role Overview
Today our finance function is split between external accountants and the CEO. It works, but it doesn't scale. You'll take it over, make it rigorous, and give the company real answers about what it costs to run and where it's going. This is an individual role — you're building the function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day finance operations: monthly close, financial statements, AP/AR
- Manage our external accountants, vendors, and banking relationships — hold them to quality and timing
- Expense and cost analysis: understand and explain our real COGS and gross margin by product and segment
- Financial planning and forecasting: budget, rolling forecast,
scenario models, runway and burn
- Tax strategy and compliance across our LATAM and US entities
- Cross-border transfers, treasury
- Lead the financial workstream of our fundraising: model, SaaS metrics, unit economics, data room, and due diligence support
You won't source VCs or manage investor relationships — that's the CEO. You'll make sure that when those conversations happen, the numbers are airtight.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in finance — investment banking or consulting backgrounds preferred
- B2+ English proficiency (mandatory) — you'll work with US investors, advisors, and vendors
- Strong financial modeling: you build models from scratch, not just maintain them
- Real fluency with financial statements — reading them, building them, and explaining what's behind them
- Autonomy and judgment. Nobody will check your work line by line
- Directness. If the numbers don't add up, we want
