About the Role

We're looking for an Information Security Officer to own and operate our ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) from the inside. This is a hands-on, operational role — we already have ISO 27001 implemented and certified, and we need someone internally to run the system, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

- Manage and maintain the full ISMS documentation lifecycle: policies, procedures, records, and the Statement of Applicability
- Conduct internal audits and track corrective actions through resolution
- Keep the risk register current by supporting periodic risk assessments
- Support the Information Security Committee with agenda preparation, meeting coordination, and follow-up on action items
- Run security awareness activities and training for contractors

What We're Looking For





- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Technology Management, or related fields
- 1–2 years of demonstrated experience operating an ISO 27001 ISMS in an internal role (not external auditing or consulting)
- Hands-on experience with internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective action management
- Strong documentation skills: creating, maintaining, and organizing policies, procedures, and records
- English level B1+
- Based in Colombia

Nice to Have

- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Internal Auditor certification
- Experience with other compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 9001)

Compensation & Contract Details

- Monthly salary: $1,600 USD
- Contract type: Contractor
- Full time 40 hours per week
- Location: 100% Remote — Colombia
